GSTIN Validator
Paste a GSTIN to check its format and check digit. This confirms the number is structurally valid — it does not look it up with GSTN, so a well-formed but fake or cancelled number can still pass.

How a GSTIN is structured
A GSTIN is 15 characters: 2-digit state code, the 10-character PAN of the business, a 1-digit entity number for that PAN in that state, the letter Z by default, and a final check digit calculated from the first 14 characters.
This is the calculation. Karyai tracks the work around it.
